I've been going to Bel Lago from time to time for years. This restaurant has become a very good restaurant that is often packed in the evening. Nearly all the seats have a good view of the water of Hoover Reservoir. In the summer you can sit outside & in the winter they have a high quality enclosure that brings that space indoors.
This restaurant has been successful at tuning the menu to eliminate the bad and add the good. I've gone there on dates, with groups of ladies, and with my daughter. It has never failed to please. It even has sorbet for those of us who are lactose intolerant. You can even make reservations online; just be aware that method might not get you outdoor seating on a crowded day.
