Review content:
My friend purchased 4 groupons for pedicures and passed it on to me as a gift. These deals expire December 31, 2010. I called and emailed on 12/20 and was disappointed to learn that they were booked through the end of the year so could not honor this deal. They said ""no extension past the 31st."" So, in other words, the deal was not honored. They offered me a free glass of wine or mimosa in January with a paid mani or pedi (my friend already paid for 4!). If they have no availability, then basically my friend lost out on the money he spent. I asked for either an extension on the service or a refund for my friend. They said I had to contact Groupon if I wanted my friend to have a refund. Which I made contact and within one-hour Groupon replied and said they would refund the money...no problem. Groupon is reviewing the deal and will work on providing better deals for their customers. It's amazing how one company can put a damper on customer service like Sweet Life Nails, yet another like Groupon really honors the people that they service. I'm sorry to say that me and my 3 friends will not be going to Sweet Life to experience the spa, but I will let everyone know when I find a better place that can take care of their customers in an appropriate manner. I hate public negative reviews like this, but I thought it was beneficial for anyone else that purchased the Groupon and was disappointed by not receiving this service because Sweet Life would not honor the deal. I am waiting to find out from the Colorado Treasurer if Colorado Law requires them to honor the deal. While Groupon is very helpful, Sweet Life Nails appears rude and unethical. (they actually complained that I was rude to their manager because I wanted a refund or the service honored. You may also want to watch out when purchasing gift cards from this business. I would fear that their gift card dealings would be handled in a similar fashion.
