Review content:
We have visited 5-6 times since moving to Illinois late last year. All our meals have been great, the service is wonderful from the table service to the bar. Good offering of seasonal specials using local stock of meats, vegetables, fruits, etc. Nice wine list from glass of house to cult vintage bottles. The place is small but that is what we enjoy about this local favorite in Crystal Lake. The only issue we have encountered is the rude owners of the place, if they stayed away and let their hired staff handle the business they would come out ahead.
Pros: good food each visit, great service,. great bar service, fun menu with each season
Cons: don't try to use coupon given in the mail, after enjoyable dinner received table side drilling from owner to where we got coupon, how rude!
