August 2007 West Mifflin, Pa. Wal Mart Vision Center....Staff unprofessional, lazy, and at times incomprehensible, led by Cassandra who at best I think is rac ist (I'm white, she's African) and at least I think is incompetent. After examination, fitting and $175, waited two weeks for glasses and they returned completely unacceptable. When I complained, staff began to question me on the procedures the examining doctor used. I said ""ask the doctor!"" Then, grilled me on the person who fitted me for the frames, loudly claiming that it was my fault the frames were unfit for use and had the lenses reversed as to which eye. I complained to FEPBLUE, my insurance, and they told me that WalMart would have to request that I receive a refund if I was dissatisfied. I protested and FedBlue called WalMart in West Mifflin, Pa. and received an authorization to refund but said I would have to sign a cancellation at WalMart. Went to Wal Mart in West Mifflin, Pa, met by Cassandra and treated like a dog kept chained outside. Took twenty minutes to resolve but as I was leaving, noticed Cassandra only refunded $120 of the $175. Turned around and went back and after another 20 minutes of being treated like a second-class citizen and sitting at the phone with Cassandra as she whispered into it, received assurance but no paperwork that the balance would be refunded. WalMart Vision Center in West Mifflin, Pa is the most unprofessional place I have ever visited, staffed by people who just don't care and led by an inconsiderate and unprofessional Cassandra. In my opinion, Wal Mart Vision Center in West Mifflin, Pa. should be avoided.
