update (1-8-2011): This company delivered my prescription polarized lenses for my Smith Factor frames in a reasonable time frame. It seems that it is made with high quality and just as hoped. I have not tried them in an outdoors active setting, but I do not expect to have any issues with them. Thanks, Sport Eyes! I now believe the company has been revamped after all those bad reviews were written, so I would recommend considering them when purchasing prescription sunglasses.

I was looking to spend my health care spending account funds before the end of the year and decided that prescription lenses for my sunglasses (I have the frame already) are within the right price range. This was the only company that carried that type of product. I ordered it and then received an email from the company to clarify that I only wanted lenses and not the frame.
Since it seemed that their customer service is not as professional as I'm used to with bigger companies, I was a little worried whether this was a legit company. Although they have an A+ on the BBB website, I realized that this particularly store had just opened 2 months ago. I then found these reviews with problems with their orders, which had me really worried.
I contacted the manufacturer for my sunglasses and checked with them whether A Sight for Sport Eyes is a legitimate retailer, and they responded saying that it is.
I just received notice that they shipped my package.. so that was basically less than 3 weeks from when I placed my order... I'll update this review once I receive the order.
