Review content:
Ive had two great meals at Jujube and really recommend it. The first time I was with a date and we were shown to a quiet table toward the back. We ordered three small plates: pork and shrimp dumplings, sweet shitake mushrooms, and broccoli with oyster sauce. Our server saw we werent in any hurry and helped us maintain a leisurely pace. He recommended a reasonably-priced Spanish Cabernet that would otherwise have escaped my attention. For main courses we ordered hanging roast pork and grilled sashimi tuna. Both had wonderful, unexpected flavors, better than any pork or tuna Ive ever had locally. On a second visit, with some friends, we sat at the kitchen bar, watched the wok wizardry behind the counter, and started with the stuffed calamari appetizer and a great Australian Shiraz. Of the three main courses we ordered, the New Zealand lamb was the absolute best.
Pros: High style, Unique menu, Good value
Cons: Crowded on Saturday
