Businiess name:  The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee

No, this is not Colorado, nor is it Montana, but just an hour or so drive outside Atlanta, is a luxury Lodge, you won't soon forget. Ritz-Carlton Lodge @ Reynolds Plantation is nature's natural beauty, on the shores of Lake Oconee. It's not for the budget minded, as the food and rooms are very pricy. The rooms have that Ralph Lauren cabin feel with feather beds, and down filled pillow's. And a 99 hole Championship Golf Course, to work on that swing. We nesteled into their World Class Spa, for a little R&R and Prada Beauty Skin Facials. This is not an everyday escape for us, but we felt we deserved it. Noshes can be had at the Spa Cafe, but it is expensive. We had a Bento Box with Poached Shrimp, w/Citrus and Hearts of Palm Salad. This was great for weight watching, but really did us no good, when we went to Georgia's for Dinner. Georgia's is the fancy gourmet dining room at the Lodge. And we had a beautiful fireside table. Be warned, it's very expensive, but very good. We both started with a cream of Vidalia Onion Soup. Very smooth. Next an app. of GA. Lump Crab with Avacado. Entrees were a wonderful Roasted Duck Breast, and a velvety Mushroom and Smoked Gouda Ravioli. We passed on dessert, and just went back to our rooms to sleep. Pure Heaven. This is a great place, that's close by the city, to get away to, and breathe fresh air. Five Stars! Pros: Wonderful Luxury Lodge & Spa! Terrific Cuisine! Cons: Ultra Expensive Dining! Service Is A Little Green!
