I had heard about the Jackalope before but never really made it over there due to the location. Big mistake! This restaurant is a beautiful little gem not to be missed.
First course - Grilled Asparagus with a perfectly poached egg, so simple, so delicious.
Second Course - Caesar Salad, great presentation, nicely balanced dressing, fantastic croutons.
Main Course - I had the Smoked Salmon and I have to say it is probably some of the best I have ever had, lightly smoked served with a chipotle-honey glaze, just beautiful. My husband chose the rack of lamb and he too expressed his satisfaction and he didn't share!
Since everything was going so well we decided to share dessert. We opted for the pot du creme au chocolat. Charming presentation, and a lovely dark chocolate flavor.
The wine list was varied, approachable and fairly priced.
All and all a lovely evening was had. Thanks Jackalope Gril
