Before I signed a lease with this property, I researched the reviews. There were alot of negative comments about the rental staff. I brought this up during my appointment and they assured me it was just renters who did not pay rent or made a late payment. THAT WAS LIE NUMBER 1! The apartments here are actually nice if you get the upgrade with new appliances, however the problem lies in the staff, as many others have posted. They are very nice and friendly in the beginning to get you to sign on to a lease, but once you?re in a contract with them, you will find that the friendly service stops there. They lie about the water, please make sure you get any water, and rent raise policies in writing, and go over them to make sure they are consistent with what they?ve verbally discussed with you. When my lease ended I decided to move closer to my daughter?s high school. At which point they decided to claw me in the back on my way out. They have no consideration for the tenant once your moved in, they are rude, and they nickel and dime you to DEATH! I would not recommend this property, I have never felt as unappreciated as a tenant who always pays her rent on time, and even though they lied about hidden fees, and date of deadlines, I still played all fees, because I knew they can get very nasty if you ask for an explanation. I have since found a bigger apartment, with a much friendlier staff, who remain friendly still after 4 months of residency. I?m very glad I decided to leave Canyon Chase, I only wish I would have listened to the warning on the review site from actual tenants. I guess sometimes we just have to see for ourselves. They are unbending, unaccommodating, unfriendly, and inconsiderate. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY...VERY POOR MANAGEMENT.
