BUYER BEWARE-MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE CAR TO A MECHANIC AND BODY SHOP BEFORE BUYING FROM HARRISON...EVEN BETTER SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM A HONEST DEALERSHIP. Harrison Imports claims that they check every automobile completly and that customer satifaction and return customers is what they base their dealership on. Sounds good if you actually practice what you preach. I came back from OEF and bought a 2003 Passat from the dealer and after having it for a week the front bumper came apart (no wreck involved). Took the car to Dave Strong Volkswagon where they put it on a lift and informed my wife and me that they don't understand how I even got it to the dealership without the whole front end coming off. So at this point we took the car to a body shop and got a estimate to the tune of about 1600.00 before taxes to replace the whole front end. She then emailed the estimate to the dealership and got the run around for two days with no resolution. The car salesman was understanding and tried to make it right but the General manager and owner didn't even care enough to return my wifes calls let alone make it right. I understand that you sign a ""As Is"" statement when you buy a used car but you assume that the dealership is honest and discloses information about the car you plan to buy so that you get exactly what you think you are buying. BUYER BEWARE-MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE CAR TO A MECHANIC AND BODY SHOP BEFORE BUYING FROM HARRISON...EVEN BETTER SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM A HONEST DEALERSHIP.
