Review content:
This is an old converted and expanded home that has great Barbecue. The place is just about always busy and has quite a following from the Sun City crowd. I know it sounds strange but that IS a huge endorsement for good food and good value too.
The brisket was excellent. perhaps the best in the city that I have tasted. Their spare ribs are really, really, really good from a guy that doesn't like spare ribs at virtually any other restaurant. They were lean, char-grilled, and very flavorful. Not the fatty, horrible mess that most places serve up. I acually preferred them to the baby backs.
Two very good sauces, a sweet smoky Texas style, and a Cajun sauce that isn't too hot. Great Peach-Raspberry cobbler for desert, side dishes including home-made style beans and steakhouse fries were good. Would definitely come back here......
