Review content:
Being a cheesecake lover, I randomly googled the phrase ""cheesecake in LA"" to see what came up. Given that I am from the inland empire and the only decent cheesecake around these is the Cheesecake factory, I was desperately hoping that my search would yield different options. Lo and behold, my extensive google search yielded sparse mentions of a place called ""Harriets Cheesecakes"". I decided to give it a try. I have to say that I got lost and ended up going in circles for about an hour before I found the place. But boy, was it worth it. The most delicious, creamiest, flavorful of cheescakes in Los Angeles, no doubt! I was warmly greeted by the smiling face of Harriet herself, who recommended the Kalhua Chocolate cheescake. Im not sure why I agreed to try it, given that I am more of a fruit/tart flavored cheescake person. But even though Im not too big on chocolate and Kaluah, this piece of cheesecake was amazing. A buttery, homemade crust...better than the manufactured cardboard crust that is served at most restaurants, excellent, balanced flavors, and a creamy texture. I will definitely go back to try another flavor (of which there are several!) such as the key lime or white chocolate raspberry.
Pros: Cheesecake, service
Cons: Price
