This is easily my favorite restaurant in the Fairfax/Beverly area. Menu is eclectic, but probably best described as upscale, dressed up comfort foods. The owner/chef personally prepares every order himself, and is an awesome cook and nice guy to boot. The ingredients are farmers market quality, and almost everything including the condiments and dressings are scratch made. My favorite is the half-pound Angus burger which has usurped Golden State for what I consider to be the best burger in the neighborhood. There's no beer or wine (yet), but it's a great lunch place, or a quiet, inexpensive dinner before a movie at The Grove or Regency. It's never a scene. Pros: Eclectic menu, chef/owner prepares all meals, low prices Cons: No beer/wine
