Pros- one of few stores that carry Marisa bridal collection in Seattle.
Located on Eastside for those who live on the Eastside
Cons- VERY poor customer service. Inconsistent communication. Unable to be reached by phone (you have to leave a voicemail and maybe you?ll get a return call). Did not deliver gown on time (late June delivery and was delivered less than 2 weeks prior to wedding day). No apologies for missed timelines, just excuses. The owner and store was featured on the King 5 news in June for refusing to pay back a client even after a court order.
Putting together a wedding, even with a planner, can be exhausting. This is enough reason to not get your gown through someone that makes you hunt your own gown down by calling the designer themselves. It shows no respect for the bride and her schedule. Earlier conversations about the gown was full of ?rest assured? by Mary Ellen (store owner). The only thing I am sure of is that I would NOT recommend this store to anyone. No bride should go through this type of negligence by the store that she trusted with her wedding gown. Do not be fooled by her motherly voice and demeanor, she is a liar and full of excuses.
The dresses here are in the thousands. It is not a cheap place so you would think the service would be decent. David Bridal (where my flower girl and bridesmaid got their dresses) was so much more attentive than this little shop can even come close to. Looking through recent reviews, I am not alone in this. When looking for bridal stores- read recent reviews. Old reviews do nothing for the present. Good luck!
As for SeattleMOB's review and comment on another's- I'm glad to hear at least ONE bride and their family had a good experience.
Pros: On the eastside
Cons: VERY poor customer service. Hard to get a hold of.
