My feelings when remebering our stay at this hotel are mixed. I remember it overall as an incredible experience, but it wasn't perfect. We paid $200 for a corner room that was noisy even when the windows were closed, but the beautiful furniture and luxurious hottub made up for that. It sounds kind of petty, but the reason we chose the Lumber Baron's was because the pictures of the beds on the website showed canopy beds with a sheer curtain surrounding the bed and flowing to the floor. The bed in our room was wonderful, but the bed curtain had been hacked off to the point where you had to leave it tied back because it would no cover the bed! It was also very uneven, and unattractive as we attempted to unfurl it. I loved the decor, though we wont return to pay those prices unless things are changed.
