Review content:
Please don't be fooled by the outside. Peking Chinese Restaurant is freakin awesome. My fiance and I have now deemed out our favorite place for chinese!
The times that we've been there, it's been pretty quiet. They've recently opened, and I get the feeling not too many people know about this little gem, or get fooled by its' outside appearance. Hence, the review to get the ball rolling. The wait staff is superb - so friendly, extremely nice, and wanting to genuinely see if you're enjoying the food.
Prices are beyound reasonable! Most platters range from $6-$8. The portions are very generous. All the times we've gone there. Their lettuce wraps and crab puffs are out of this world, so delicious. Soup and lots of rice come with every dish, both equally good. My fiance and i have had the Chef's Special Platter, the orange chicken, General Tso's chicken, the chili platter, and another one I cannot recall the name of. Irregardless, they were all tasty, and provided more than enough for lunch the next day.
The people at Peking are the type that are hard to find now a days as far as service goes. The food is fresh, hot, yummy, and delicious. Don't judge this hidden secret by it's outside...the food is fantastic!!!!
Pros: amazing food
Cons: location
