Review content:
After a disappointing meal at a Thai restaurant on Washinton Ave, we strolled past Les 2Fontaines, where Sergio the waiter beckoned us to enjoy a dessert. We ordered a key lime pie that was very unremarkable. As will all food checks that week (we spent over $500 on just meals!), we were forced to pay the included-in-the-bill 17% gratuity for service that was always weak, disinterested and they seemed to never really crack a smile, even on the slow nights. Hey, if they don't have to WORK for their tips, why should they, huh? Actually, the best service we got in Miami was the Saturday morning we left town at the IHOP on the NW side--busy & bustling, but in & out within an hour with great service with a smile!! Needless to say, we volunteered a big tip at that one!
Pros: cocky waiter Sergio, nice jazz music, sidewalk seating
Cons: , forced 17% gratuity
