We have been using Four Star fas our property manager in Boulder and don't recommend them. They charge us for everything, even for their membership in a Property Management Asosciation. They found terrible tenants for us last year, who left a huge burn mark in the living room rug,. The tenants left without getting charged for the burn mark and didn't pay their last month's rent so we couldn't take it out of their deposit. Then Four Star proceeded to charge us for a $300 rug cleaning fee, without even mentioning the burn mark - which is still there. They should have suggested that we replace the carpet instead. We only found out because I visited the unit and the new tenants told us. They charge us an average of $300 a month in extra services and repairs on our unit every month, in addition to their management fee.
