Review content:
Ever want to go out with a special someone for a special time? Ever want to impress that special someone with YOUR recommendation for that special place? From A to Z (ebra's)? There is no disappointment at Zebra's. One night my best friend and I decided to chat over a good glass of wine. And, we don't really get out much to do this. I suggested Zebra's. The bedraggled feel of the working mom facade melts away when you walk into Zebra's and are greeted by the friendly sophisticated staff. We decided to sit at the beautiful bar, decorated with beautiful wines from all over the world. And, what do they say about women? We cannot make up our mind? The bartender made us feel like we were touring the wine country in Sonoma. He suggested a few dry white chardonnay's and gave us a sample to make up our minds. A personable and extremely wise fellow from Sudbury, we cast our cares while we sipped a delicate glass of wine. What I like most is the personable touch, ""are we outside of Boston?"" I thought. This was one night I didn't miss my hometown of Seattle. Recently by daughter turned 16 and I decided to take her to an early dinner, just the two of us. Being a dork, I knew this was going to be a painful experience for her, so I decided to sweeten the deal and take her to Zebra's. She LOVES seafood. We ordered a beautiful salad and the scallops. The sea scallops were pan seared, delicate and juicy. My daughter started to smile and forgot she was in the compnay of her mother. I think she felt all grown up. We couldn't leave without dessert and we ordered a sampling of a few chocolate numbers, they melted in our mouth. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure whether my daughter loved the food or the waiter more, maybe it was a tie. Zebra's atomosphere, staff, fine wine and food do their job carefully, in a sophisticated manner, and make you feel like you've just been to a food spa. Like I said before, from A to Z, Zebra's is a tasty treat.
