Review content:
I needed rice for 50 people for a party so I had my brother call in the order for me. When my husband picked up the order later in the day I was shocked to learn that they charged us $80 for two containers of rice (not nearly enough for 50 people). I called the restaurant and spoke to Moses, the manager, who was grotesquely rude and essentially told me that there was nothing he would do for me. I explained to him that $80 for rice is just ridiculous and the fact that they didn't send enough over makes it worse and I asked him if they would be willing to discount the price. He said my only option was to purchase additional rice and when I explained to him that this was not a viable option, he barked at me that there was nothing he would do. This single experience was the worst example of awful customer service I have ever encountered. The fact that he wasn't willing to help me was one thing, but in addition, he was giving me terrible attitude throughout the entire conversation. I have food catered for many parties throughout the year and I have never had a problem with a restaurant like this. I would think that an establishment like the Red Onion that has been around for so long would have a higher standard of courtesy and customer service.
Cons: Overpriced food and Very rude employees
