Review content:
Pleasant and bright atmosphere, good sandwiches (their croissants = win) and soup, and great desserts (key lime tarts, cheesecakes sqaures, and lemon squares are my favorites). The strawberry lemonade is a good drink choice (note: it's on the sweet side). But on the negative side, the service is a bit lacking! This place went from counter service to waited tables... Not sure if it's the management's lack of experience, but it's frustrating to see your waiter standing around while you're waiting to order. Other thoughts: I read a bunch of reviews of this place online and they all seem to say ""mediocre this or mediocre that"". Not sure where these folks are from, but I've eaten way worse food in Houston in far less pleasant restaurants :) First-class gourmet, it isn't. But for the price, it's inifintely better than eating at Chili's...
Pros: sandwiches, atmosphere, desserts
Cons: where's my waiter?
