Review content:
I have been a shopper at paramount for the past 3 years. I gp there every holiday season to redo my home, every room including kitchen, living room and bathroom. The staff is freindly and always helpful with suggestions. I went there for my annual thanksgiving and xmas shopping and notice there was something different. While the curtains available were still great, other sections of the store seemed to be a little cluttered and unorganized. The candle and vase sections seemed to be plastered with misspelled signs that weren't even advertising any sales. While the selection was still of a nice assortment, I felt as if there was too much going on to properly focus on the merchandise itself. The shower curtain and rug section now have a discount store feel to it. Its as if no one takes the time to properly display the new items and once again it seems that it was over crowded. I left with very little that day, because it became fustrating. I may try a different paramount, but that would mean traveling a little farther and I may as well go out to target or back to Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm not sure why Paramount in Mill Basin has changed its layout, but they really should go back to the way thing were, or they may lose more customers. The once young and vibrant staff seems to have ben repalced by older individuals. I myself am in my 50's, but if your staff seeems too tired and irritated to be bothered, maybe they should retire.
