Businiess name:  Redondo Beach Pier
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Redondo has always been a nice place to spend a day at the beach. The pier itself hasn't fully recovered from the damage done by the fire and ocean, but the re-built sections offer a nice walk out above the water. The arcade used to be huge and fun, but is now a shadow of its former self. The restaurants are a bit better than at Santa Monica, and El Torito offers some very nice ocean views. Polly's offers a nice huevos rancheros. Most of the stores are tourist traps, but offer a quintessential SoCal beach experience for the tourist. Parking isn't generally a problem here, and on clear days you can see out to Catalina. The beach itself is a victim of erosion, but is still a nice, peaceful place if you want a good SoCal beach experience.
