Businiess name:  George Petrellis Famous Steak House

Review content:
I should have been suspicious that the parking lot was almost empty. Hadn't been to Petrelli's since they moved into the new building across the street from where they once were located. The restaurant was nearly empty at 7:30 on a weeknight. The only good thing I can say about this dining experience is that the steak was good. Your meal starts with a bowl of beef soup (no substitutions the menu says!) which is 100% tasteless. Not even salt and pepper could revive this tired mess in a bowl. The bread was warm and had the consistency of chewing gum. The salad was okay, but the green beans served with the steak were straight out of a can. Deplorable. And about those menus: encased in sticky, greasy plastic. It was like eating in a hospital cafeteria. Petrelli's might once have been a Culver City institution, but it's time to put it to rest. Pros: Decent steak Cons: Everything else
