Review content:
Over the course of my dealings with them, I've had some problems with 2 of the employees at Rasputin's. These guys are amateur rock historians, who are judgemental of people who don't listen to their metal or any of that junk. I buy alot of 70s punk and obscure rock, soul and blues from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000's, as well as flamenco, old country and jazz. I consider my tastes to be very diverse and I'm always respectful when meeting new people, despite the judgemental criticism I received at this store on multiple occasions. The guys at Rasputin's are cocky and all-knowing, as they play obnoxious music through their system, in an attempt to impress someone, or perhaps each other. These show-offs are obviously trying to compensate for everything they lack. I can find better record stores by simply driving through San Francisco.
Pros: low prices, good music priced low
Cons: tight parking, poor selection, too much metal crap
