I purchased my sons 2009 Challenger R/T from Security Dodge in April of 09. The sales department was great to me and gave me a great price. Now here is where the horror starts. I noticed at 1900 miles that the rear tires were shredding and big chunks were missing from the center of the tires so I brought it to Security and they told me it was a defect on the tires and I needed to bring it to Goodyear and they will warrantee the tires. so I brought it to Goodyear and they said it was the car that was tearing up the tires. So back and fourth I was going and finally Goodyear put a new set of tires on the car. Before I left Goodyear I called the service manager at Security Dodge and asked if I should bring the car in for a wheel alignment and he said no because there is nothing wrong with the car.(He never even looked at the car) so I let it go. I drove the car about 50 miles and noticed the tires were cupping again so I called the Dealer again and he told me to bring it in and he will align the car. Well all I can say is he sent it out to this shop that looked like sanford and son worked there and when I went to pick it up at that shop it had 9 miles put on it. When I questioned it they said they road tested the car.( 9 miles for a road test. What he was testing I can't tell you) So I go back to the dealer and tell them to put another set of tires on the car because the ones on there were cupped. The service managers response was the tires will wear in and the cupping will wear down. I insisted and they did it when I went to the owner and he told them to change them. I drove the car 100 miles and the tires are cupping again so I brought it back to Security where I was told they did everything possible and they will not do anymore for me. I call chrysler and opened a complaint and they said they will call the dealer because somthing is wrong with the car. When I call chrysler the next day and asked what happened they told me the case was closed and the cannot do anything for me. The service Manager said the tires are doing what they are doing due to driving habits. I was on the phone with chrysler for an hour telling them the whole story and also offered to buy two new tires and let the service department drive the car for 100 mile to see it's the car and they told me that they will not allow that. I then called the dealer and spoke to the owner and he said it was BS and there is somthing wrong with the car and he will make some calls and get back with me. He called and said the district rep is coming on November 3rd and with look at the car. I get a call yesterday from the service manager at Security to tell me the rep is not coming tomorrow and he will call me soon. So the rep called me about an hour later and asked me what the problem was. I told him an right away he said we are not going to do anymore for you on this issue because the car was aligned and it's caused by driving habits. I offered the same thing with buying the tires and letting the dealership drive the car for 100 mile but he refused to allow that. he was really nasty and I could not believe what I was hearing. So it's going to another dealer tomorrow who thinks he can help me out. I will keep you updated. Security Dodge service department is a joke and the service manager is an idiot who don't know how to deal with customers and chases away anyone who he cannot make money from. If you bring your car there for service you deserve to be screwed. (DON'T SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED) Cons: The Worst
