What a find!
Last week we ate here via a friend's recommendation and we will be back very soon. I love most Italian food, but this place has such unique amazing dishes, we were blown away! I ordered the seafood special, lobster, scallops, shrimp with a Sambucca sauce that was amazing. The seafood was so fresh tasting and tender, and the sauce was so different and special. The portion was very generous and it came with a cesar salad that was also very delicious and different, NOT mayo like at all, it was lovely garlic with lots of lemon taste with a bit of a bite, yummy!
My husband had a chicken dish with portebellas and sunripened tomatoes with a marsala type sauce, and again delicious!
The chef Loretta, is the co-owner and is apparently the only one who ever cooks there, that is refreshing I think. We also had an appetizer spedino that is fried bread and cheese with a garlic/anchovy sauce that was also crazy good.
The desserts were very good too.
We had a great time, lovely food, nice staff and maybe gained a pound or two, but, hey, worth it!
