Review content:
I started using House of Flowers several years ago for special occasions because they have a convenient location. I am a very forgiving person and do not normally rock the boat (i.e. post negative reviews), but after several bad experiences and giving them many chances to redeem themselves, I believe that everyone needs to know that House of Flowers is an unprofessional and poorly run shop. Apparently Kathy, the owner, relies solely on her convenient in a nice shopping center to dupe people (like me) into thinking that she provides quality flowers and deliveries in a professional manner, this is absolutely not true. On several occasions, the flowers sent were old and withered, and many of the arrangements were poorly and sloppily put together. The most recent incident though, ruined a surprise for my fiance on Valentines Day. I made an online order earlier in the week, and then even called the day before delivery to confirm the order, but it did not arrive and ruined part of my plans for valentines day. I was finally able to get a refund, but Kathy was not willing to make the order right by sending the arrangement two days late. If you want flowers in Lubbock, never use House of Flowers. I've started using College Flowers and would highly recommend them to anyone. Pros: Convenient Location Cons: Poor Customer Service, Unprofessional, Sloppy Arrangements
