these people are a complete joke. i signed a one year lease with 2 roommates last year. the deposit was ridiculously high before we signed it. i asked if we could negotiate this down, and they said yes. they also allowed pets on the craigslist ad. well when it came time to sign the lease and no one had anywhere to go, we couldn't negotiate the deposit, and all of a sudden they didn't allow pets.
also, we had to do our own research on setting up an account with the city to pay our garbage and water and electricity bills. you would think that a PROPERTY MANAGEMENT company would at least provide us with phone numbers allowing us to do so? luckily i have a brain and did all the research myself.
a few months later, we went over 3 weeks without hot water. they lagged and lagged and lagged and we were forced to take cold showers during the winter.
we also had an extremely annoying neighbor on one side of us that would make up lies and threaten to call the police about us having 'parties.' i told her to go ahead, and she never did. instead she had the number to azari pm and complained to them, resulting in them threatening to evict us if the 'partying' did not stop. it's a petty issue, but i don't appreciate anything being assumed of me without even trying to do a little bit of investigation.
these people have their heads so far up their asses as far as property management goes. i have no respect for lack of responsibility or the way they do business.
