Businiess name:  The Fresh Market

Review content:
Fresh Market is a well-played and well-decorated health food ""hoax"", in my opinion. They may be fresh, but they are not as healthy as you might think. Their shelves are freely stocked with products containing ""high fructose corn syrup"", ""hydroginated oils"", ""bleached flour"", etcetera. Even their deli and ready made sandwiches/pastas are NOT wholly made on-site (they're brought in on trucks in the morning, put out in pretty little bowls, and then sold by the lb.), and they contain ingredients typically found in processed foods. Check out the long ingredients labels, am I the only person who noticed?? Even their Sushi has high fructose corn syrup and monosodium glutamate (MSG) in it!! You can find good organic products mixed in here and there, but the same is true of Wal-Mart. I consider Fresh Market to be nothing more than a higher class Wal-Mart in disguise. I now go to Wild Oats or Whole Foods instead... where I don't have to sift through all of the unnatural foods that I'm trying to avoid in the first place. (By the way, I have also tried Fresh Markets in Miami, Charlotte, and Atlanta... and sadly they're all the same as Brentwood.) Pros: Ambience, Wine Selection Cons: Processed foods, MSG, High Fructose Corn Syrup
