On April 11, 2011, I had Clean 4 Clean out to clean my ducts as advertised for the whole house for $59.99, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom. Upon their initial inspection they informed me that price does not include all the duct system which they referred to as the trunk and main duct. In order to get everything cleaned and treated for mold the 59.99 jumped to 385.00. There was considerable pressure to purchase the package and the tech said, look I hate to think I drove an hour to get here for nothing. I asked if I could get the 59.99 cleaning only and he said ?no? the best he could do would be 185.00. I refused; then he said he will have to call in to the company to see if they will come down. The tech returned and said they gave me an approval to do the whole house including treatment for mold for 230.00, then said but if was willing to pay in cash he would reduce that to 200.00. All said and done, I paid the 200.00 cash, they were gone in 30 minutes, and there were several vent covers that were never removed, I wonder how clean those vents are? Treated? How could that be when they were not accessed?
