Review content:
I came to Dr. Dobyns after firing another doctor whose experiments with anti-convulsants for my chronic depression nearly took me into the abyss. Dr. Dobyns has always treated me as a person, not an experiment , and has listened to my reports of what is going on. Even just a med check with him is treated as a time to hear what's really going on with you. He is very insightful and discusses your needs and how any treatment he proposes should effect you, and listens when you report what affects you actually have. A good man, and good psychiatrist. Trustworthy.
Pros: Quiet office, soothing atmosphere, friendly and intelligent staff.
Cons: Waaaay out northwest Austin, tough for a south Austin resident to get to, but worth the trip.
