I was very excited to try out the new Landmark and maybe my expectations were too high because of all the reviews. So I'm writing this as a favor to you folks out there going for the first time so you can have low expectations and be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed. First the good stuff: Free parking, which means there's no line to get in and out of the garage so you probably save 15 minutes of your life each time you see a movie there instead of the Grove or the Arclight, my two favorite movie haunts. Reserved seating, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer knowing you've already got a good seat. Not just popcorn and nachos if you go at mealtimes and prefer to eat in the movie. Barnes & Noble next door. Pros: free parking, good sound, food variety Cons: too-bright exit lights, small screens, tight seats
