Review content:
My husband and I had heard so many good things about Bonefish Grill, we decided to give it a try. We went on a Wednesday night. The waitress was hell bent for fury and insisting we try the bang bang shrimp of which we did not. I ordered the Tuna Appetizer and Hubby ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. Tuna appetizer was so smothered in sauce - probably because the Tuna was flat with not much taste. Hubby's scallops were very good. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and Hubby ordered the filet. The sea bass came out looking as if it was fried...it was tough and smothered with a lemon butter sauce and a ton of pepper. I asked the waitress if it was fried and she said it was ""grilled as the menu stated"". It was awful, tasteless except for the heavy lemon butter sauce and it was about 1/4 inch thick. Usually sea bass is about 3/4 inch thick and light and fluffy...this sure wasn't. I had grilled asparagus which were tough and woody. Hubby enjoyed his filet and said it was really good. The prices are a bit high for the quality of food. Will not return again nor recommend to friends or others. Sad I wanted to like this place because I love fish...this fish was far from fresh and tasty.
