HORRIBLE. DON'T COME HERE. THERE ARE BETTER VETS & CLINICS IN THE AREA. The doctors or staff don't have any courtesy at all for you or your pet and it makes you wonder why they're in the animal care business to begin with. If you want your pet to receive good care, your questions or concerns to be listened to, and you to be treated with dignity and respect, there are far superior vets and clinics in the area. When we asked people for a referral in the area after our horrible experience with them, Animal Clinic/Dr. Albert Garcia and Dr. Dharm Singh were not even recognized by animal specialists in the area as a recommendation. (We did not even mention their names or that of the clinic.) I would give them 0 stars if this website allowed me to. They may seem like they're cheap but 1) that's because they can't compete with other vets and clinics in the area in terms of quality of care, 2) they still end up overpricing or overcharging you for inane things like eye drops and skimp on more serious treatment for your pets even when they have been sick for a long time, probably because they want you to keep coming back to take more money out of you, and 3) by the time you come back for the umpteenth time because they don't take your pet's conditions seriously and only keep guessing on how to treat your pet instead of doing the right kinds of tests, you can end up spending hundreds to thousands of dollars, especially if you end up having to take your pet to the emergency room because your pet's gotten so sick s/he is about to die. Drs. Garcia and Singh lack so many qualities essential to a good vet: medical competence, listening skills, sympathy/empathy, and high ethical standards, especially when it comes to responsiveness, accountability, and education of clients. Instead, I advise people to take their pets to Clocktower Animal Hospital in Herndon, VA; Seneca Hill Animal Hospital in Great Falls, VA; The Hope Center in Vienna, VA; and I hear the Reston Animal Hosptal in Reston, VA. They, especially the first 3 which I have direct experience with, are a different level of care altogether and far superior options. Clocktower Animal Hospital is in Herndon, VA at 2451 Centreville Rd # I12 Herndon, VA. It is only about an 8-minute drive from this one, has rave reviews in Google from other customers, and has won acclimation and awards from Consumers Checkbook, Fairfax Times, and the Washingtonian. They are open until 8pm on the weekdays, 4pm on the weekends, and have 24-hour on call emergency service. Since I can't post their link on this website, I recommend Google-searching them. Seneca Hill Animal Hospital is located at 11415 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, VA 22066 and is 11 minutes away from this one. They offer great services, are very professional, and are open until 7pm on the weekdays, 1:30pm on Saturday and 4:30pm on Sunday. Please Google-search them as well. If you have an emergency need something open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the Hope Center is GREAT and is located at 140 Park Street SE, Vienna, VA 22180, about 15-20 minutes away. They offer very advanced care and I recommend going to them for serious illnesses, especially if you suspect that you need to get a second opinion from a different vet. Google-search them too. They are definitely worth checking out. If you need something in Reston, VA, the Reston Animal Hospital is located at 2403 Reston Pkwy, Reston, VA 20191-2501. They are about 10 minutes away from this clinic. I don't have direct experience with them, but if you need something in Reston, they are worth considering as an alternative. I highly recommend the other 3 clinics I mentioned though, especially since their distance from this clinic is comparable. Cons: Bad service, medically incompetent, vets don't listen
