Review content:
I bought my friend (and myself) a Kelli Petri Cooking Class for Christmas. We were so excited to have a fun girls night out. The issue we faced was that each season when a cooking class schedule was posted online, the two obviously most-popular classes became full within a day of posting. We eagerly waited for the Summer schedule to be posted, only to find that Kelli Petri Catering took 3 months off. Getting nervous that our voucher is set to expire in November, we checked that website everyday for the new fall schedule to be posted. Again, once the schedule was posted, the best classes (Gourmet Weekday Meals- hands on, Healthy 30 Minute Meals- hands on) filled up within one day of posting. I am assuming that the capacity of each cooking class is quite limited if classes fill up so quickly. The obviously more desirable and universal classes were only offered once per season (Winter, Spring, Fall) at 6, and once or twice more at 10 on a weekday morning. So yes, they have classes offered, but not for the majority of people who work during the day. The other few classes available were mostly ""Demo"" classes, meaning that you'd just sit and watch the chef like on Food Network. I honestly rarely complain, and I am only writing this review because I feel so strongly that we got duped by Kelli Petri Catering. My friend sent Kelli Petri a perfectly valid and polite e-mail inquiring whether or not she will be adding extra courses, since the good ones filled up so quickly (supply and demand, much?). Kelli Petri responded very rudely, offering no rectification for the lack of classes, not even an apology. Instead, Kelli Petri unprofessionally got defensive, acting like it was a personal attack on her. I looked back on Groupon and found that 774 people purchased vouchers last November. I seriously doubt that enough accessible and interesting classes (those offered at night or on the weekends; those hands-on instead of ""demo"", etc) were offered to satisfy the volume of new customers that Groupon generated for Kelli Petri. I am angered because I feel that Kelli Petri Catering will be cashing in on unused vouchers upon the November 30th expiration date. Luckily, if you are like me, Groupon will credit your account if you explain the situation.
