Review content:
We ate here for the first time on a Friday night and were really glad to have made reservations. The first thing I noticed about this restaurant was the abundant wait staff, then as the evening progressed I realized that they were necessary for all the small plates coming out of the kitchen so smoothly. We started out with a flat bread with 3 cheeses and herbs - which was very nice, then we had the beef wellington it had a nice wild mushroom sauce and was fork tender, then we tried the gyozo - a chicken stuffed wonton atop crispy fried spinach with a pecan and brown butter sauce which was so good we could have eaten three orders! We also tried the aoli garlic fries which arrived looking very plain but were hot and very spicy and had lots of garlic bite to them. Then we ended on the Dry boat scallops - two huge tendar scallops with a nice couscous. Overall this will become a favorite place, it is a bit pricey - we paid $80.00 plus tip for two and that was without any flights of wine, I did have one glass of wine that was about $7.00, the flights are served in 2 oz sets of three so they are a good buy and the wine list is extensive. The wait staff are very helpful and efficient, the atmosphere is basic but the lighting is calming and the food was really, really good. I definitely will be going back again.
Pros: Food and wait staff
Cons: Name and some prices
