Review content:
One trait people look for in an iconic establishment like Joe's is friendly employees who seem happy to help you. At Joe's this is something I have rarely seen, which is why I rarely go there. Every time I do, it is about the same, fairly cold service. It's not just me, others are treated about that way also.
In my most recent visit, in addition to not being friendly, the employee coughed into her hand, and then looked at me like ""so what?"" She did use a tissue to pick up the food when filling my order, but still. I should have asked her to wash her hands, but there were people behind me, so I didn't.
Both of these are training issues that reflect on the management of Joe's. Too bad. It could do an even better business than it does.
Pros: Mt. Hood icon
Cons: Not very friendly, employee coughed around food
