Review content:
If you're a big Victorian-loving, antique-loving, tea-loving person then this is the place to go. If you're looking for exceptionally good food I wouldn't recommend. It IS very quaint, and our waitress was very good. It's confusing when you walk in... if there's a sign pointing you to the hostess stand, it isn't very visible. We could not figure out where to go to be seated. The ""Strawberry Vanilla"" coffee on the specials board tasted like plain coffee that had been sitting on the burner too long... and that was the opinion of all three of us who had a sip. The sandwiches were all OK... carrot cake for dessert was dry and probably came from a box in the freezer. We also found it surprising that the noise from the kitchen is SO audible from the dining room... doesn't add to the atmosphere at all. Again, not trying to bash but felt that the previous reviews were pretty old and thought I would provide my honest opinion for anyone wanting it. If you're looking for unique and quaint surroundings, it's wonderful, but they fall short on many other things.
