Review content:
I LOVE Dr. Markwood and Dr. Sutherland. Dr. Markwood has delivered both of my children. Dr. Markwood tends to be a bit old-school in that he is hesitant to try something like a VBAC, but Dr. Sutherland is supportive of that decision. I planned a VBAC with my second son; my first son was a C-section due to fetal distress. Due to some complications, however, my second son was an emergency C-section at 31 weeks. I never felt pushed by Dr. Markwood. I do think he tends to be ""all business"" during delivery, but that is understandable. What seals the deal for me is that when my second son was born early and VERY sick, Dr. Markwood and Dr. Sutherland came to a hospital outside of their approved ones just to visit us and check on things. Dr. Markwood called several times during my son's NICU stay to check on his status. He is a WONDERFUL doctor. Having said that, while I LOVE the doctors, the office staff is awful! They have lost appointments, put my phone messages under the wrong patient's name (resulting in my messages not being returned), and they are generally not helpful when I ask questions. I can't get perscriptions called in either due to messages being lost or not relayed to the right person. Honestly, if it weren't for the amazing doctors that I have, I would leave the practice because of the terrible service from the office staff.
