I have always hated taking my car to a garage. I always felt that the mechanics were condescending and taking advantage of me because I am a woman. Some of the garages were uncomfortable to wait around in for my car to be fixed ~ no where clean to sit, smelly, just plain unpleasant. I would beg my husband to take cars to the garage even if it wasn't convenient for him. But then I went to Crossroads Automotive. The owners were extremely nice and treated me with respect. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. There was a couch and chairs, and plenty of reading material. The bathroom was also well kept and clean. The mechanics explained what needed to be done to my car and how much it would cost. He also advised me that some of the repairs were warranty work that should be done by the dealership. He could have very easily done all of the work and been paid for it, and I would have been none the wiser. I knew then that I could trust these guys. Since then I have been every time my car needs any thing done to it. I don't dread going to this garage at all. Men may be comfortable at any garage, but most women aren't. This is the place for anybody who wants a trustworthy mechanic, nice environment to wait in, and excellent service. Pros: Respectful and trustworthy mechanics, clean waiting area, quick service Cons: none noted
