Review content:
I went to salon for the first time. Brought some pictures of some simple low light examples. I also reviewed hair colors on the chart with the stylist... Now, instead of being blonde with a bit of additional warmth from the low lights I received an all over dark brown, flat color. While I was in the chair I mentioned the color in the container looked dark. I was told that's how color is... i've been coloring my hair from 20 years and I do have some experience. Then I had to prompt them to take color off as it was on too long. When complete, it was really really dark, I made mention of this and the owner told me I looked better with darker color and it would lighten up. It's a week later and it definitely has not lightened up. I went back to the salon and spoke with the owner who gave me the ""oh well"" speech. There was no sympathy, no compassion, no apology. Now, I have to go to another salon and pay for my hair to be color corrected.
