Review content:
After reading a few horror stories on chimney sweeps, I was a little nervous to hire someone that didn't have a review, but I guess that was a good sign. From the first phone call, Kent was very knowledgeable, trying to ascertain what could be the problem with my chimney before even seeing it. He is one of only 3 certified chimney companies in town, and gave me a great website (Chimney Safety Institute of America)about chimneys, so I could educate myself a little too. He made an appointment with me within the week, showed on time, covered my furniture, pet my animals, and discussed my problems and possible solutions for my chimney. Then he did the sweep, cleaned up the extra mortar the previous contractor dropped on the damper when rebuilding the top, and gave me the low down on all the care my chimney would be needing over the next few years without trying to sell me anything extra right now. The cleaning and inspection cost me $159 total, plus a few little bonuses like a 2009 calendar and a few fire starters made from cedar and paraffin. I will definitely use him for all my chimney needs. Pros: professional, great customer service, timely
