Review content:
I was injured in an automobile accident in November 2009. They guy who hit me had insurance through this company. They submitted a claim, asked me for paperwork from my Dr and work for the time I had to miss. Two weeks later, I called and they told me the paperwork wasn't complete, so I mailed them a complete set, then two weeks later, they said that the paperwork wasn't worded the way they needed it from the Dr. I went to my Dr's office and talked to him, and let him know what the insurance company said, he redictated the letter, someone typed it up and it was faxed to the ins co. Three weeks ago she said she had the proper paperwork and it was being submitted to Whomever it needed to go to. She also told me that it would be 2 weeks before I hear anything. I've called everyday for the last week and have yet to recieve a call back on the status.....Needless to say, I have had to file bankruptcy due to the lack of income due to my injury. I am back to work, and have been since January, but I need the money they owe me so that I don't loose my home and my car. Can't even get a live person on the phone....going to contact the IL dept of financial and professional regulations division of insurance to see what they have to say about this.
