Jim Matson is THE BEST automechanic in Los Angeles, and the best I have ever had anywhere. He's honest, easy-going and great at what he does. He is always entirely straightforward about repairs, weighing the benefits and detriments of any fix against the value of the car. He'll tell you flat out if he thinks it's not worth it for him to do work on your car (if it's old, or if it won't be much help in the long run). When he does, he delivers exactly what he says he will deliver. He's helpful in working around schedules, letting you drop off your car before or after hours. Long live Jim Matson!
