Review content:
The Seafood Night on Fridays at the Ritz Carlton was the biggest disappontment of the year so far. I decided to go with a friend after reading that 162 won best brunch for 2 years in a row. What a mistake that was. We frequent the St. Regis brunch, which is magnificent. There was no comparison. All there was in the buffet was seafood. The desserts were disgusting, and I couldn't cut through the salmon with a fork. I've learned my lesson. When you find a winner, stick with it. This place needs to take some lessons from the new kid on the block, so to speak. Service was wonderful, I must say, as it should when you're paying $100 per person (after tax and tip). The ambience is very poor. It's like they didn't know where to put the restaurant, so they stuck it in a hallway on the way to the guest room elevators. Every guest must walk through the ""restaurant"" to get to the elevators. Poor design.
Pros: Excellent Service.
Cons: The Food.
