Businiess name:  VCA Willow Mill Animal Hospital

Review content:
I spent thousands at Willow Mill to treat my two dogs who had advanced kidney disease. There were several hospitalizations also involved. I had problems with the competency of one vet there so I worked with two others who seemed competent at first but as time went on I got conflicting diagnoses and treatments. They also overcharged or charged me for treatments for which I didn't pre-approve. Adjustments were made to the bills but only after I complained. The worst part was the hospitalizations. They share facilities with the Animal Emergency Medical Center (AEMC) an overnight/weekend vet service and different business (but I think owned by the same vet at Willow Mill). Responsibilty for your pet is transferred over to AEMC for overnight and weekend care. That means you are double-charged for care by both places. AEMC charged 2 to 3 times higher for services and injections than Willow Mill and does not provide a detailed list of charges so they can easily hide high or overcharges and specific charges. Be very careful if you utilize Willow Mill....ask lots of questions and double-check your bills. Especially beware of over-charging if your pet will need hospitalization due to use of AEMC
