Review content:
After seeing this restaurant go from very good to very bad over the years, we heard new owners took over. So...we decided to give it a try. How glad we are we did! The place had a major clean-up..central air..laminate flooring..creative wooden ceiling..granite top bar. Enough about the decor..The food is most important and how wonderful it is! Same menu as before, but the ingredients now very fresh.
I had the coconut shrimp basket. My husband had his usual 12 oz. hamburger. Shrimp crunchy and tender..fries hot and fresh. Burger meat , although juicy and tender, needed a little spicing up. My husband does not put anything on it but sale & pepper..meat and bun, so that is his opinion. At home he adds some garlic and onion powders for a bit more flavor..
Coleslaw excellent also.
I used to eat the Grouper Sandwich and Crabcakes. Look forward to trying them once again.
This will be, as it once was, one of our frequented places throughout the year for us!!
To those who abandoned this place, please give it a try..a pleasant surprise awaits you!
