Review content:
I have to strongly disagree with the last post. I find it hard to believe that Dr. E. would refuse to order labs. That seems to be his bread-and-butter. I have never, in my three years under his care for rheumatoid arthritis, felt that he hasn't taken me seriously or treated me with great respect. In fact, I have never undergone a more thorough physical examination by any doctor. He always seems to have another better option when his treatment isn't working. I also think it's great that he doesn't have a nurse because he calls you in and greets you personally which I think is very refreshing in this age of get them in and get them out. I do agree that since Chris and Marsha left, his office staff has suffered a little--Chris especially was very warm. As far as getting another rheumatologist, forget it. If he left the area, I would follow him.
Pros: personalized care
Cons: hard finding disabled parking close to the office
