Review content:
Dr. Kettlehake is a wonderful physician. She practices medicine the old fashion way-taking the time to listen to your concerns & discussing the best treatment options. She always remembers you & your health issues. She does not rush through the appt, she takes the time to be thorough. When my kids have physicals, she not only does the standard checkup, she talks to them about taking care of their teeth, wearing helmets when they bike & scooter, & asks them about how they are doing in general. When we've been really sick, she calls to check on us. If you call when she is on call, she dedicates the same amount of time on the phone-keep in mind that dr.s can only bill for ofc visits. I haven't had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appt-I don't mind a bit knowing that she is thoroughly caring for a patient & that she will do the same for us. Her office staff is wonderful & extremely organized! I have lost perscriptions & insurance approvals for services that she has requested for me & they always take the time to make sure I get another perscription or copy of the letter. They are always very nice about it-even though it takes time & effort out of their already extremely busy day. She has even had her staff call me to follow up on lab tests that she has prescribed that I have lagged on & not had done. I have called with questions that her office staff will relay to her & get back to me with thorough answers-again,she can't bill for that time & in my experience with other dr.s, they would require an office visit rather than a phone call(she is not paid for)-she truly cares about her patients.I have never had a problem getting an appt within a few days of my call. Her ofc hrs are no dif than others. They close @ 1230 on Friday-with all the time she dedicates M-TH (& on call too!) that is not unreasonable-she is a mom too! I have moved 30 miles away & despite the 40 min. drive, I would never change dr.s. She & her staff are OUTSTANDING-& (obviously) I HIGHLY recommend her!
Pros: Her top priority is thorough, quality care. She and her staff are AWESOME!
Cons: If your priority is getting in & out w/out a possible wait rather than a thorough, caring dr-she is not for you.
